About

Tucked at the quiet end of the road at Legacy Mountain Resort, this cabin offers 180° views of Mt. LeConte from two private decks — including from the hot tub after dark. Private theater room, full game loft (pool table, air hockey, foosball, 700-game arcade), and jacuzzi soaking tub. Sleeps 8 across two king bedrooms plus sofa beds. Paved roads all the way in — no steep mountain driving. 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

Good to know

Cleanliness is one of our highest priorities. Before every stay, Sanctuary in the Smokies is professionally cleaned and carefully inspected to ensure everything is fresh, spotless, and ready for your family. The cabin is also thoughtfully stocked with fresh toilet paper and paper towels, real kitchen towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent for two loads, and hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner in every bathroom. The hot tub is drained and refilled with fresh water before every check-in. You can settle in, unpack, and begin enjoying your vacation—without making an immediate trip to the store. Most cabins at Legacy Mountain converted their loft into a third bedroom. Ours didn't — you get a private theater AND a full game loft, with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, and an arcade cabinet loaded with 700 classic games. Guests enjoy full, private access to the entire cabin during their stay — no shared spaces inside the home. Relax, cook, play, and unwind with complete privacy from check-in to check-out. You'll also have access to the community amenity center, a short 5-minute walk away, with a fitness gym and a seasonal outdoor pool. This cabin combines modern comfort, real entertainment, and the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. From the private theater room and game loft to the hot tub under long-range mountain views, every space here was built for relaxation and fun. You're close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge while still tucked away in a quiet mountain community. Getting Around: Best explored by car. Paved, family-friendly roads lead directly to the cabin with parking on site. The local Pigeon Forge trolley is a convenient option if you'd rather not drive. Uber and Lyft operate in the area, though availability can vary late at night. The closest major airport is McGhee Tyson (TYS) in Knoxville, about an hour away.

Other Details to Note

"Legacy Mountain hosts love converting their loft into a third bedroom. We went the other way — ours stayed a private theater and a full game loft, pool table, foosball, air hockey, and an arcade loaded with 700 classic games included. Step outside to a hot tub framed by 180° views of Mt. LeConte, two decks built for morning coffee or evening wind-down, and the Legacy Mountain Ziplines a short walk from your door. Paved roads mean no white-knuckle mountain driving to get here. Two king bedrooms plus sofa beds for up to 8 guests. This isn't a cabin for sleeping in — it's one built for a group that wants to actually do something together."

House Rules

🌄 **Welcome to Sanctuary in the Smokies!** Kick back, relax, and enjoy the mountain magic. Here are our fun, friendly house guidelines to keep your stay safe, comfy, and *bear-free* (hopefully). --- 🏡 **Treat the Cabin Kindly** Handle the cabin like your own peaceful retreat. Registered guests only — unregistered visitors will be gently escorted out by our neighborhood black bear. He works for tips. (half eaten sandwiches, leftovers etc) 😴 **Quiet Hours | 11 PM – 8 AM** Sound bounces around these hills like it’s got somewhere to be. Thanks for keeping nights mellow and respecting gusts in other cabins! 🚫🐾 **No Pets** We love furry buddies, but this cabin stays 100% pet-free to keep it comfy for all future guests. NO 🚭 **Smoking** No smoking or vaping inside. Outdoors is fine — just keep it tidy so the porch stays scenic. 📶 **WiFi Info (the good stuff)** **Network:** Sanctuary in the Smokies **Password:** Blackbear (Yes, of course it’s Blackbear. Would it really be anything else?) 🛁 **Hot Tub Rules** We drain and refill our Hot Tub with fresh water for every new stay! The hot tub isnt a bubble bath...even if it does look tempting --- 🍳 **Kitchen Etiquette** Cook, snack, unwind — just tidy up afterward and start the dishwasher at checkout. 🗑️ **Trash** All trash goes into the bear-proof bins *latched tight* with the chain and caribiner attached. If you leave food outside, the bears will consider it an invitation… and they never RSVP 🐻 **Bear Habits & Staying Safe** You are officially in bear country — congrats! A few things to keep your trip from becoming a Discovery Channel episode: * Bears are most active at dusk, dark, and early morning. * If you go out to the car, go for a walk **bring a flashlight and stay aware**. * Bears are curious, quiet, and surprisingly polite — unless you leave food out. * Do not approach, feed, or have a heart-to-heart with them. * Keep food, coolers, and trash inside or secured. 🚪 **Checkout | 10 AM** * Start the dishwasher * Towels in the shower * Lock up * Give the mountains a goodbye wave ✌️ Enjoy your time at Sanctuary in the Smokies — relax deeply, explore freely, and if you spot a black bear… admire from a safe, selfie-free distance!
